Position Summary
The experienced tax Associate will play an important role in delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory services to individual and business clients. This position is ideal for a CPA or CPA-eligible professional with several years of public accounting experience who is ready to take on more responsibility, manage projects, and begin supervising staff. The role offers hands-on exposure to a variety of tax engagements, opportunities for leadership development, and direct collaboration with firm management.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review complex individual, business, fiduciary, and entity tax returns.
Research and analyze complex tax issues to develop clear, practical recommendations.
Participate in client planning and advisory projects under the direction of firm leadership.
Manage workflow and support project scheduling to meet deadlines efficiently.
Review and provide feedback on work prepared by associates and interns.
Communicate directly with clients to clarify information, answer questions, and ensure accuracy.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required; CPA license preferred or actively pursuing.
2–5 years of recent public accounting experience in tax compliance and planning.
Solid understanding of federal and state tax law.
Emerging leadership skills, including the ability to delegate, coach, and collaborate effectively.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
